Boost Your Brain Function with Cinnamon Oil

Do you know that consuming cinnamon oil regularly will boost your brain functions? A study conducted by a certain Dr. P. Zoladz was presented in the April 24, 2004 meeting of the Association of Chemoreception Sciences in Sarasota, Florida. Dr. Zoladz said that chewing cinnamon gum or even just smelling cinnamon increases a person’s cognitive processing. The specific results of the experiments showed that the participant’s scores improved on tasks related to virtual recognition memory, attention processes, working memory and visual-motor speed while working on a computer program. The participants were exposed to different odors of peppermint, jasmine and cinnamon. Of the three essential oils, cinnamon has the most positive effects on the brain function of the participants.
